Dress Code

Members, Residents and Guests are kindly asked to adhere to these simple dress code rules whilst on the gilf course.  Any person not doing so may be asked to leave the premises.  Please ask at the Pro Shop for further assistance.

 

Gentlemen

 

Golf Shoes (soft spikes only 1st April - 30th September). Polo shirt with collar, no excessive logo's & please keep the shirt tucked in during the course of your game.

T-shirts, football or rugby shirts are not allowed. Tailored trousers or shorts must be worn. With shorts please wear white socks. Cargo pants/shorts, jeans, tracksuit bottoms, 3/4 length trousers are not permitted.

 

Ladies

In providing our service to you, we must collect personal information from you and make subsequent use of it as detailed below.

• When you make a booking with us over the telephone or via our internet booking facilities

• When you register with us for newsletters, email updates, enter competitions or take part in surveys and customer feedback

• When you write, fax, telephone or email us to make an enquiry

We may collect all or some of the following information relating to you or other members of your party:-

• Names and contact details

• Credit / debit card or other payment details

• Special requirements such as those relating to a disability or medical condition which may affect your hotel stay

Some of the information we collect will only be collected on the condition that we have your positive consent to its use. We will seek this consent when necessary.

What will we do with it?

1. For the purpose of providing you with our services, we may need to disclose the information to companies and organisations who need to know it so that they can provide the services making up your hotel stay (eg another supplier of a service being provided outside the hotel (who could be located outside the UK / EEA)

2. We may also pass the information to some or all of the companies forming part of the Interchange and Consort hotels / Best Western Hotels Group (‘Best Western Group’), (some of whom are located outside the UK / EEA)

3. We and / or companies in the Best Western Group to whom we may pass your information, may store the information and from time to time contact you with information about special offers, brochures, new products, forthcoming events or competitions. You will be given the opportunity on every communication we any company in the Best Western Group send you to indicate that you do not wish to receive this promotional material

4. We and any company in the Best Western Group that we pass it to will store your information only as long as is reasonable. We and any company in the Best Western Group that we pass it to have taken all reasonable steps to have appropriate security measures in place to protect your information. Outside the European Economic Area, controls on data protection may not be as wide as the legal requirements in this country

5. We may need to disclose our customer list including any personal information relating to you to a third party who acquires or attempts to acquire all or substantially all or the asset / stock in our company

What can I do?

Members Policy

Congratulations on your new membership to the North Shore Golf Club (Skegness). We hope you have many years enjoyable playing.

Every effort has been made to make sure your time with us is as hassle free and safe as possible, so we have compiled this policy detailing information required to make your time on the golf course as safe as possible.

• Be aware of golf balls from the 9th and 18th fairways when walking to 1st tee

• Make sure that fairways are not in use before teeing off

• Priority is given to Green Keeping and Course Marshall Staff at all times

• Do not play towards greens if still in use

• Various tees around the course are situated close to the previous greens. Be aware of golfers playing greens while you wait for your tee shot

• If your ball leaves the fairway you are playing, inform golfers playing the hole in the usual manner

• If you have to play your ball from an area that is not on the hole you are playing make sure that the area is safe to enter and play from before attempting your shot

• When the irrigation system is on do not attempt to play off the tee

• Around the course are several drainage ditches. Only cross these drainage ditches by using the marked areas. Do not enter the drainage ditches. Equipment to retrieve any balls in the drainage ditches is provided

• During the winter months the weather may make some areas of the course dangerous or unplayable. Please read all displayed information prior to commencing your round of golf

• All balls hit out of bounds must be reported to the Professionals Shop or hotel reception

• All accidents on the course must be reported to the Professionals Shop or hotel reception

• Make yourself aware of all ‘local rules’

From time to time there will be further considerations when playing the North Shore Golf Club. We advise that you check with the Professionals Shop or hotel reception on a regular basis.
